Well I guess the first question is. Are they even worth it for them? I don’t have the money for a gaming PC so actual racing sims are out of the question, but is it worth having a wheel for the more arcady Forza/GT?
And that being said, what’s a decent one that’s not going to cost a shit ton? I’m looking to buy used (unless that’s not recommended.) Ideally I wouldn’t want to spend more than about $200 bucks on it. If I absolutely have to spend more than that, then I probably won’t get one.

I personally find a controller to be fine for Forza.

The annoying thing is that modern consoles can’t run the older wheels, so you’re basically stuck buying PS4 or Xbone-specific wheels.
I think Thrustmaster might have one that works on both? I know for Logitech, the G29 and the G920 are separate models for PS4 and Xbone respectively. (Also, the G29's the better choice for PC gamers, as far as I can tell, because it’s got more buttons to map.)

It doesn’t need to work for both. I just asked because I haven’t gotten a console yet. I’m leaning more towards Xbox, because I think they have more cars and maybe tracks.
I’ve seen some used G290s for about $220, but I figured there’s gotta be something cheaper than that, that’s still decent.

I know it’ll work. I just wanna know if it’s worth getting, since I’d imagine it’d be a lot more fun with feedback.
